Judith E. Engel Percival, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Sunday afternoon at her home in Scranton.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Emily V. Lotz Engel Perry.

She was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She was employed as a nurse and prior to retirement, she was employed by Whitehaven Center. She attended Parker Hill Community Church and was a member of the Sierra Club.

She enjoyed gardening, all outdoor activities, was an avid Yankees fan, loved animal rescue and mostly enjoyed time with her family.

Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Cashuric and her husband Joe, Factoryville, and Suzanne Percival, Rockaway, NJ; a son David Percival and his wife Tracy, Rockaway, NJ; two sisters, Beth Perry, Clarks Summit and Suzanne Perry-Friedman, Loudonville, NY; grandchildren: Kimberly ,Michele and Melissa Myerski, Michelle Carichner, Julia and David Gallacher, Rachel, Ronnie and Ryan Percival; a great granddaughter and several nephews.

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at the Parker Hill Community Church Clarks Summit Campus. Visitation with the family will be from 9 to 11 am.   Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Memorial contributions may be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Rd., Clarks Summit , 18411 or the Sierra Club, PO Box 606, Harrisburg PA 17108.
