Joy Kimble Kropiewnicki

Joy Kimble Kropiewnicki, Mount Pocono died Friday morning, March 3 at the Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. She was the wife of Dr. Robert Kropiewnicki Jr.

Formerly of Clarks Green she was born in Scranton the daughter of Faith Jones Kimble and the late Paul Williams. Joy was a 1984 graduate of Abington Heights High School, attended Keystone College and received her degree from Marywood College in 1988.

Joy was previously employed by Friendship House in Scranton and more recently volunteered for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Joy was a devoted and wonderful mother who loved her family and friends, she also had a life long love of animals.

Also surviving is her daughter Lauren of Mount Pocono, mother Faith Kimble of Port Orange Florida, brother Kurt White, Ormond Beach Florida and step brothers James, David and Louis Kimble.

She was preceded in death by her brother Mark Williams .

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 7 pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit.

The family will receive friends from 4 until the time of the service.
