Josephine Guzzi

Josephine Guzzi, 78, of So. Abington Twp. died Wednesday afternoon at home. She was the wife of the late Angelo Guzzi, Sr. who died August 9, 2017. The couple had been married 58 years.

Born in Blakely on October 20, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John and Bridget Yantas Wallinger. She was a graduate of Blakey High School and became a homemaker her entire life. Jo was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed golfing, being outdoors, and was a member of Glen Oak Country Club for many years.

The family would like thank Allied Services Hospice Unit, especially Barb for her compassionate care.

Also surviving are three sons, Angelo, Pottsville;  Robert and wife Cathy, Dalton; Michael and companion, Michele Rutkoski, Olyphant; one daughter Angela Coleman, S. Abington Twp; two sisters Wanda Chekan and husband George; Jean Wallinger; and granddaughter Ashley Coleman.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Entombment will be private in Glenwood Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
