Josephine Bichler, 87 formerly of Clarks Summit, died Thursday evening at the Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle. She was the widow of the late Gustave Bichler who died in 2001.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Anna Conapinch deAntonio. She loved to read and was dedicated to her family. She was devoted to her faith and had a great sense of humor; her laugh alone just made you laugh and forget what you were laughing at.
Surviving is a son, Kurt Bichler, Clarks Summit ; nieces and caregivers, Bev Peckham, Carlisle and Deborah Bichler, Lake Winola.
A private graveside service will be held in the Abington Hills Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA.
