Joseph H. Schultz of Bath, formerly of Chinchilla, died Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus. His wife, the former Mary F. Armstrong, died April 16, 1988.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Chester and Gladys Seeley Schultz, he was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He attended Keystone College and was a graduate of Penn State University. He had been employed as a manager for the Social Security Administration before retiring.
Surviving are two sons, Mark, Clarks Summit; and Kurt, Saylorsburg; a daughter, Lisa Blank Nazareth; three grandchildren, Michael Schultz, Jordan Mary Blank and Jonathon Blank; and a sister, Joan Lohmann, Chinchilla.
He also was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment, Shady Lane Cemetery, Chinchilla.
