Joseph M. Mclaughlin

Joseph M. McLaughlin, Moosic, died Thursday morning at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.  He was the widower of Jacqueline E. Peters McLaughlin, who died in 2014.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ida Dorn McLaughlin. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and, prior to his retirement, was a Teamster driver for New Penn Trucking.  He was a man of Lutheran faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Sally Jones and her husband, Robert, Biglerville, and Jacqueline Donelan and her husband John, Moosic; son Joseph and his wife Jeanmarie, Camp Hill; eight treasured grandchildren, Rachael, Sara and Robert Jones; John, Sean and Ryan Donelan; and Nathan and Quinn McLaughlin; one great grandchild, Carter Iagovino; sister Karen Felts, Newton; companion Carol Morganti; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, with services by George J. Matthews. Interment to follow at Abington Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m.
