Joseph W. Kircher Sr., 53, Falls Twp., died Monday. He and his wife, the former Lisa Ayers, married in 1988.
Born in Schultzville, son of Alice Swartz Kircher, Tennessee, and the late Leon Kircher, he formerly worked as a welder for Karnel Inc. He was a member of the former Schultzville United Methodist Church, now Countryside Community Church, Newton. He was in the Army Reserves and was a member of the American Legion.
Also surviving are a son, Joseph W. Jr., at home; two daughters, Jane M. Kircher, at home, and Andrea Stephens, Mississippi; a grandson, Maxwell Stephens, Mississippi; a sister, SueAnn? Brents, Mississippi; three brothers, Stephen, Newton; Leon, South Carolina; and Edward, Tennessee; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, John.
A memorial service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, by the Rev. Dr. J.P. Duncan, pastor, Countryside Community Church. Interment will be in Newton Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
