Joseph F. Bruzzano, 92, Clarks Summit, died on Monday at his home. His beloved wife, Sarah S. Bruzzano, preceded him in death on June 25, 2001.
He was born and raised in Newark, N.J., and had lived in Irvington, N.J., and in Warren, N.J., before moving to Clarks Summit eight years ago. Before his retirement, he was a plant manager for the Lehigh Tool and Manufacturing Co. in Roselle, N.J. He served in the Army from 1944 to 1946.
Mr. Bruzzano enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He also enjoyed football, especially the New York Giants.
Surviving are two sons, Paul Bruzzano and wife, Barbara; and Joseph D. Bruzzano and wife, Dorothy; a sister, Sarah Myers; and grandchildren, Paul, Andrew, Matthew and Kristina.
A funeral gathering will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Wat-chung, N.J., followed by a 10:30 funeral service at Somerset Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation will be on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
