John Juice, 97, of Glenburn, died Thursday morning at the Abington Manor Nursing Facility. His wife, Sarah Juice Deininger, died in 2006.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Samuel and Stephana Juice, he had several occupations, including a self-employed farmer before retiring.
John enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He rarely missed his daily walks.
Surviving are three daughters, Rita Juice Chopko, Dalton; Mary Elizabeth Amico, Lewisberry; and Edith Davitt, Dickson City; two sons, Harold Stanton, Warminster; and Raymond D'Arienzo, Owings, Md.; a brother, Sam Juice; three sisters, Rose Juice, Helen Osterburg and Mary Sichak; several grandchildren, including Nicholas and Alina Chopko; nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Olga Hoffman and Stella Juice.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Greenwood Cemetery.
