John Jonkowsky passed away peacefully on Tuesday at Gardens at Tunkhannock. He was the son of the late John and Susie Jonkowsky of New York, NY. His is survived by his wife, Anna Jonkowsky.
After turning 18, he served in the United States Army for five years, then worked as a butcher.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, David Henneforth and his wife Irene, and Mark Henneforth; grandson Joshua Henneforth; granddaughter Alyssa Savitski.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
