John W. Gallagher, age 77, of Lake Winola, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at home. His late wife was Margaret Lancaster Gallagher who died in 2012.
Born March 15, 1937 in Scranton, he was the son of the late John A. and Louise (Mullaney) Gallagher.
He was a proud Army veteran, and prior to his retirement, he was employed by Plainview Tissue Co.
He is survived by two sisters, Mary Louise Gallagher, and Rose Anne McDonald, Scranton; and a nephew, Harold McDonald.
Services were private at the convenience of the family.
