Johanna L. Conklin, Dalton, died Saturday morning in her home. Her husband is John Conklin, the couple married in 1998.

Born August 15, 1954 in Baltimore Maryland she was the daughter of the late John and Barbara Berggren. Prior to her retirement she was a Marketing Director for Edgel Communications, and after her retirement acted as a consultant for them. She attended the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit.

Also surviving are three step daughters, Christine Smith and her husband Michael, Franklin, NJ; Terri Martin and her husband Daryl, Newton, NJ; and Tammy Ozdimer, Franklin, NJ; a niece, Laura Berdine and her husband Kevin, MN; a nephew, John Elliot and his wife, Stacy, NC; six step grandchildren, Michael and Connor Smith, Abbey and Jay Martin, and John and Sophia Ozdimer; and a brother in law, John Elliot, NC.

She was preceded in death by a brother John Berggren and a sister Suzanne Elliot.

A memorial service will be held on January 9 at 11 am at the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit, 300 School St., Clarks Summit with services by Rev. William Carter, pastor.

Friends may call from 10 am until the time of the service at the church.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in care of the Deacon's Fund, or the American Cancer Society, 712 S. Keyser Ave., Taylor, PA 18517.
