Joanne Hemmings, 77, of Clarks Summit, died peacefully Wednesday evening at her home.
Before her retirement, she was employed at Prudential Insurance as an Asset Manager.
Joanne enjoyed making and selling her own jewelry to area businesses.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nicholas Dodge and his nurse, Sandy, for their wonderful care they gave to Joanne over the years.
Surviving are a son, Chuck Kotarski and his wife, Katie, Olyphant; two daughters, Jackie Hemmings, Throop; and Yvonne Barton, Minneapolis, Minn.; seven grandchildren, Kristin, Vanessa, Ryan, Jonathan, Robert, Crystal Lynne and Adam; and several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Evangelical Free Bible Church, 431 Carbondale Road, Waverly. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service at the church.
