Joan Pawlowski of Scranton died Tuesday morning at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore.
Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of Edna Williams. Prior to retirement she worked in various factories in the area.
She enjoyed country music especially Kenny Rogers, and playing BINGO. Her most memorable times were spent with her family.
Surviving are three daughters, Darlene Bouselli,Duryea, Bernadine Welcome, Clarks Summit, and Michelle Landi and son in law John Landi, Ronkonoma, NY; a son, Gerald (Jerry), Duryea; Five grandchildren, Richie Bouselli, Pamela Bouselli, Gabriella Landi, Joseph Landi and Amy Genell and her husband Jason; Two great grandchildren, McKenzie Nichols and S. J. Genell.
She was preceded in death by a sister Audrey Yeager.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Scranton Manor for the care Joan received over the last 14 years, and the team at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassion for Joan and her family.
A Memorial Mass will be held at the convenience of the family at Our Lady of the Snows Church in Clarks Summit. Interment will take place in the Duryea Cemetery.
