Joan Elizabeth Kane

Joan Elizabeth Kane of South Abington Township, entered into the Presence of the Lord on Wednesday, October 14 while at home with her family. She was born to George and Lillian Williams on December 29, 1937. Joan was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerard Kane and her daughter in law Amy Kane.

Joan was a long time member of Servant Church of the Abingtons and devout Christian who served the Lord her whole life. She had a warm and welcoming heart, inviting many into her home over the years.

Joan was a wonderful mother to five children, Gerard of Wind Gap, Beth of South Abington Township. Sean of Clarks Summit, Brian of Factoryville, and Colin of Tobyhanna. Joan or “Noni” loved her five grandchildren, Shania, Anna, Michael, Lara and Lillian fiercely. She also became a great-grandmother this year.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday from 5 pm to 7 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit. The service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at Servant Church of the Abingtons, 204 South Abington Rd, Clarks Green, PA with interment to follow in Fairview Memorial Park.
