Joan Belin

Joan Kinney Belin, age 88, passed away January 1, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Belin IV.

Born in Ardsley on the Hudson, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine Geary Kinney.  She was a graduate of The Masters School, Dobbs Ferry, NY and Bradford Junior College, Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Joan was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always thought of her family first.  She was a realtor for Nichols Associates for twenty-six years and helped many families in the Abington Area.  Joan also volunteered for many organizations.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by three daughters, Wylie Shreffler, Myerstown, PA, Betsy Fraaza and husband David, Hudsonville, MI, and Heidi Matthews and husband Greg, Waverly, PA; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Joan Welles Belin and Leslie Belin McCall, a son-in-law LeRoy Shreffler, and a sister Audrey Nolan.

Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 Williams Street, Dunmore, PA  18510 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
