Jeanne Craig Day, age 86,, formerly of Clarks Summit, passed away Tuesday, February 12th in Lewisburg. She was the widow of Daniel E. Day who died in 2007.
She was a WWII veteran and a lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corp.
She is survived by one brother, Douglas Craig of Clarks Summit, and one daughter, Jacquelyn Richardson, Tampa, FL three sons, Daniel, Lewsburg, Douglas, sussex, NJ and Donald, S. Carolina
five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11am from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit with services by Rev. Judy Wanck, pastor of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Dunmore Cemetery.
