Jane M. Zawacki

Jane M. (Pawlowski) Zawacki, 91, died Sunday evening at Attleboro Nursing and Rehab Center, Langhorne, Pa.  She was the wife of the late Walter M. Zawacki for over 45 years and a resident of Justus, Pa.

Born in West Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Alexandra (Kowalczyk) Pawlowski.  She was a graduate of West Side High School.  She worked at Consolidated Molded Products and later for 20 years at Sandvik Steel before retiring.  She was a member of the Church of St. Gregory from its founding.

Jane's greatest joy was her family, first raising a daughter and son, and then four grandchildren that she thoroughly enjoyed spoiling.

Surviving are a son Frank J. Zawacki and wife Lisa, Yardley; a daughter Cindee Williams and husband John, Dalton; four Grandchildren, Emma and Owen Zawacki, Yardley; Megan and Kendra Williams, Dalton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Ignatius and Alex Pawlowski; her sisters Sophie Pawlowski, Ceil Zaloga, and Mary Wendrick.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 am from the Church of St. Gregory 301 N. Abington Rd. Clarks Green, to be celebrated by Rev. John Lapera, Pastor.  Interment will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, West Scranton.
