Jane Ann Miller

Jane Ann Jones Miller, 74, of Overfield Township, died on Friday at Allied Hospice, Scranton. She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, William Robert Miller.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur, Jr. and Anne Santarsiero Jones. She was a graduate of Falls-Overfield High School and, prior to retirement, worked at Airline Petroleum and Service Merchandise. She and her husband were also foster parents for over 27 years.

Surviving are a son, William A. Miller and wife Lori A., of Lake Winola; daughter Renee Faith Barnauskas and husband Bruce J. of Olyphant; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; siblings Robert Jones and wife Joanne, Arlene Dickinson and husband Dennis, and Arthur Gary Jones and wife Bonnie; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved Siamese cat, Pandora.

Jane was preceded in death by a son, Brian, and a daughter, Renee Ann.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, with services by Pastor Dorothy Rugg. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held privately at Abington Hills Cemetery.
