James M. Jordan, 47, Clarks Summit, died Tuesday morning shortly arriving after admission to Mercy Hospital.

Born in Scranton, son of Ann Maloney Jordan, with whom he resided, and the late James R. Jordan who died in 1978. He was a lifelong resident of the Clarks Summit area. He was the Manager of Denny's Restaurant where he had been employed for the past 18 years.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church. He was a 1979 graduate of Abington Heights High School and a 1981 graduate of Keystone College.

He was always considering everyone else before himself, especially children.

Also surviving are a sister, Patricia Young, and her husband, Daniel, Pittston. Two brothers, John Jordan, and his wife Lisa, Reno, Nevada and J. Tom Jordan and his wife MaryBeth, Hillsboro, New Jersey, Neices, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and one great Nephew.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 10 am from Our lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday from 5-8pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
