James A. Drinkwater, Dalton, died Friday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. His wife Grace, preceded him in death.
Born in Portland, Maine, he was the son of the late James A. and Irene Reilly Drinkwater.
He was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God, and prior to retirement he worked as a Head Custodian for the Copiague, NY School District.
He is survived by a son, Theodore Drinkwater, West Sayville, NY.
He was preceded in death by his step mother, Lillian Rose Miller.
Services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
