With heavy hearts, we announce that our mother, Irene Margaret (O’Hearn) Graham, received her heavenly wings on October 30th at age ninety-nine. Born in Scranton, Pa., on September 26, 1927, she was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Davis O’Hearn. She married her beloved husband, Paul Sr., in 1955. He preceded her in death.
She was a proud graduate of West Scranton High School, class of 1945. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Abington Heights cafeteria and Lourdesmont School. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Our Lady of the Snows Guild and choir. Additionally, she was a volunteer at Allied Services in Scranton.
Irene was a devout Catholic who enjoyed her daily rosary rides with her husband and attending mass at the local parishes, especially Our Lady of the Snows in Clarks Summit and Our Lady of the Abington’s in Dalton. Irene loved passing the hours on her back porch swing feeding birds and singing Irish songs.
Irene is survived by three sons: Paul Jr. and wife Jacqueline of Venice, FL, Robert and wife Tamara, and Michael and wife Leslie both of Clarks Summit.
Irene leaves behind grandchildren who loved her dearly: Meredith (Chris), Aaron (Davy), Austin (Alyssa), Courtney (Ryan), Lindsey (Curtis), Zachary, and Alexa. Her great-grandchildren are Fallon, Finley, Breleigh, Kira, Tatum, Teagan, Maggie, and Charlie.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy, and her siblings: Dorothy Thornton, Joseph O’Hearn (Buck), Mary O’Hearn, Jene O’Delesky, and Paul O’Hearn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Indraloka Animal Sanctuary, 336 Oak Dr., Dalton, PA 18414.
May the wind rise to meet you. Good night, Irene. We love you and will miss you forever.
