Irene Patricia Gale Dingee

Irene Patricia Gale Dingee, 66, of Dalton, died Sunday night at Community Medical Center following an illness. Her husband is George Peter Dingee. The couple had been married for 46 years.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Bernice Wynn Gale. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was affectionately referred to as "GG" by her grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Also surviving are a daughter, Joanne Evans and husband, Mark, Falls; a sister, Bernice Long and husband, James, Green Ridge section of Scranton; a brother, Edward Gale and wife, Angela, Scranton; two granddaughters, Brooke Evans, Scranton; and Rayne Evans, Falls; four great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gale; and a sister, Joan Robbins.
