| Ida Calpin, 94, of Newton Township, formerly of Bell Mountain died |
| peacefully Thursday afternoon at home. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Calpin. |
| Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Stella and John Wilcom. She was a graduate of North Scranton High School, and was employed at Burger King in the 70's. |
| Ida was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. |
| She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. |
| Her family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Life Geisinger. |
| Their professional care, compassion, friendship and humor made our Mom's |
| day. Also a note of thanks to VNA Hospice for their compassionate care. |
| And a special thanks to her caretakers Shirley, Roseanne, Angie and Darlene for |
| the loving care they gave to her. |
| Surviving are a son Henry Calpin and wife Debi of Archbald; a Daughter Sandy Rau |
| and husband Jim of Newton Township; grandsons Jeffrey Rau, Scott Twp, |
| Brandon Rau and fiance Michele Kramer and daughters Karlaina and Teryn of |
| Copenhagen, New York. |
| She was preceded in death by a sister Eleanor Walters and a brother Donald Wilcom. |
| The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 am from Immanuel Lutheran Church, 238 Reese Street, Scranton, PA 18508. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. |
| Friends may call Monday from 4-7 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, PA. |
| Memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. |
