Hilda A. Dakey, 98, of Justus, died Saturday morning at home after an illness.
Born in Archbald, daughter of the late William and Minnie Hennemuth Dakey. She was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.
She was a loving daughter who cared for her elderly mother and father during their time of need and a loving and caring mother to her son, who will forever be grateful for a wonderful childhood and a life long supporter.
Surviving are a son, Jack W., Justus, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Wilbert Dakey and two sisters, Mildred Baker and Pearl Evans.
The funeral was held privately at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. C. Albert Wagaman. Interment was in Valley View Cemetery, Montdale.
