Henry R. "Hank" Ross, Dalton, died Saturday evening at Geisinger Community Medical Center.
Born in Scranton, son of Lydia D. Artfitch Ross of Dalton and the late William H. Ross, Hank was loved throughout Clarks Summit, as he would do several odd jobs for the town merchants.
He will always be remembered as kind and gentle soul who would do anything for anybody.
Also surviving are three brothers, William Ross, Monticello N.Y.; David Ross, Avoca; and Kevin Ross, Dalton; four sisters, Betty Beeman, Dunmore; Dorothy Santicchi, Dalton; Marilyn Vaow, Dalton; and Anita Ball, Factoryville; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, by the Rev. Lori Robinson, pastor of Dalton United Methodist Church. Interment will be private in Fairlawn Cemetery in Dalton.
