Henry "Ray" G.R. Baust, Jr.

Henry G. R. "Ray" Baust, Jr., 61, of Abington Township, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Geisinger CMC in Scranton. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Henry G. R. Baust, Sr. and the late Rebecca Burdick Baust. He was a 1974 graduate of Abington Heights High School, and he was an automotive machinist at D. G. Nicholas & Co. for forty-three years.

Ray was a member of the First Baptist Church of Abington in Waverly, PA. He was an antique truck enthusiast, belonged to a local truck club, and loved almost anything with an engine. Ray loved dogs and spending time with his nephew.

Surviving are his brother, Rob Baust, a nephew, Henry R. Baust, and three cousins: Eric Petersen, Melissa Burdick-Harmon, and Jeanne Moody.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 16, at The First Baptist Church of Abington, Main Street and Carbondale Road, Waverly, PA. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:00 AM, followed by a service at 10:00. Interment will take place in Hickory Grove Cemetery following the service.
