Helena Rusinko, 95, formerly of Clarks Green, died Monday evening at the Frederick Living Community, Frederick, PA. She was the widow of Michael Rusinko who died in 2008, the couple had been married for over 60 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Archie Bambach and the late Anna Noldy.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Juanita Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and volunteered with the American Red Cross Blood Bank & Fund Raisers for ASPCA. Prior to retirement, she was employed in the food service department at Abington Heights School District.
Helena was a loving mother and grandmother who greeted everyone with a smile. She was a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed.
Surviving is a son Richard Rusinko and his wife, Marie, Barnegat, NJ; a daughter, Sharon Knapp, Limerick, PA; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a brother Bruce Bambach. & Grandson Michael Knapp.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Abington Hills Cemetery, So. Abington Twp.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite charity, Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Rd., So. Abington Twp., PA 18411.
