Helen Mack, 96, of Peckville died Monday afternoon at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. She was the widow of the late Joseph Mack.
Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Gurchin. She returned to Clarks Summit in 1965. Prior to her retirement, Helen was employed as a sales representative for J. J. Newberry Co. She was a skilled knitter and enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Poland, Alaska and Jerusalem.
Helen was a beloved Aunt to several nieces and nephews who survive her.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Stanley and John Guchin; and a sister Alice Paerels.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of the Snows Church in Clarks Summit.
