Helen G. Campbell

Helen Branning Campbell, 91, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Thursday morning at the Claremont Nursing & Rehab Center, Carlisle. She was the widow of the late G. Robert Campbell, who died in 1968.

Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Harold R. and Blanche E. Syphers Branning, she attended Scranton Technical High School, and was a member of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church and its Esther Circle. Before her retirement in 1980, she was employed by J. C. Penney Co. at the Viewmont Mall.

Helen enjoyed sharing time with her family and friends, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are a sister, Shirley Rolles, Mechanicsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Branning and Virginia Sampson.

The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by the Rev. Amy Raser.

Friends may call Monday from 10 until the time of the service.

Interment will follow in Abington Hills Cemetery.
