Helen Buckley

Helen Buckley, 90, of Scranton, died Friday morning at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She was the widow of Thomas Buckley.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late George and Claire Powell.

Surviving are her son, William Buckley Sr. and his wife, Carmeta, Ransom; grandchildren, Bill Buckley Jr. and his wife, Lori, Dalton, and Jennifer Buckley and her fiancé, John Tabachka, South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Billy, Hailey and Ashley, Dalton; sisters, Marie, Joanie, Claire, Phyllis and Jeannie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Delores.

A memorial mass will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, 316 William St., Scranton, to be celebrated by the Rev. Cyril D. Edwards, pastor. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
