Harry S. Glasson, 80, died Nov. 7 in Florida after an illness. His wife is Betty Glasson of Florida. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Isabella Oliver Glasson.
Son of the late Harry and Evelyn Sherman Glasson, he was a resident of North Fort Myers, Fla., for the past 20 years and formerly of Clarks Summit.
He was an Army veteran, having served during the Korea War.
Before retirement, he was a lieutenant in the Baltimore City Fire Department and a supportive member of the Clarks Summit Volunteer Fire Company for 64 years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kathy Ryan and husband, Richard, Florida; a sister, Nancy Spencer and husband, Richard, Factoryville; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a nephew.
Interment will be private in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Clarks Summit Volunteer Fire Company, 321 Bedford St., Clarks Summit, PA 18411; or Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway, East Cape Coral, FL 33903.
