Harry L. Evans, 103, of Falls, died Thursday evening in the VNA Hospice Unit at Geisinger Community Care Center in Scranton. He was the husband of the late Ethel Gregory Evans who died in 2003.
Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late Robert M. and Elizabeth Lloyd Evans. He was a self employed farmer and was a school bus driver for many years. He was also employed as a yardman for Dunmore Lumber until he was seventy five. He was a member of the PA State Grange and the Dairymen's League. He was also a member of the Falls United Methodist Church and in the Falls Kitchen Band. Harry was an avid reader and enjoyed watching tv.
Surviving are two daughters Jean Tomlin and Gloria Lee; both of Falls; a son Harry Lloyd, also of Falls; seven grandchildren Beth Trusler and husband Leo; Tracy Evans and wife Sharyn; Susan Evans; Terry McNamara; Gloria Tomlin; TJ Tomlin and wife Brea; and Andrea Powers and her husband Josh; four great grandchildren Joshua and Jacob Trusler, Tracy Sue Evans, and Thea Tomlin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Oliver Evans.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10am from the Falls United Methodist Church, 211 Buttermilk RD, Falls PA. 18615 with service by Rev. Mike Baumgardner, Pastor. Interment will follow in Roberts Cemetery, Falls.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Falls United Methodist Church.
