Grace Jenkins

Grace Jeanette Jenkins, 85, of Clarks Summit, died Sunday evening at home.She was the widow of the late Paul Jenkins who passed away in 1999.

Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Hice and Bessie Singer LaCoe.She was a graduate of Newton Ransom High School.For years she worked at the Farmer's Cooperative Market with her brother Farmer Bucky LaCoe.She was a member of the Clarks Green Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Grace Fries and husband Gary, Nicholson, Phyllis Jenkins, Clarks Summit, Kristin Reynolds and her husband Todd, Springbrook Twp., and Carol Demian, Olyphant; a son Paul Jenkins and his wife Luci, Columbia, NJ; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Gilbert, Clayton, Allan, and Norman LaCoe and one sister, Annabelle Chapman.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am from the Clarks Green Assembly of God Church, 204 So. Abington Road, Clarks Green, with services by Rev. Glenn White, pastor.Interment will follow at Abington Hills Cemetery.

Friends may call on Wednesdayfrom 5 to 8 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, and on Thursdayfrom 10 am until time of service at the church.
