Grace V. Finn, 95, of Clarks Summit, died Tuesday at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pa. She was the wife of the late Richard A. Finn.
Born Jan. 16, 1923 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Gaston and Alice Robbins Du Jardin. Before her retirement, she was employed by Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. as the head teller at one of their branch offices in New York City.
Grace was a loving sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed greatly by all who loved her, and will be remembered for her loving, caring ways, her outgoing personality and her generosity which knew no bounds.
Surviving are her sister, Mary Ryan, Fairfax, Va., nephew, Paul Ryan, and nieces, Kathryn Ryan, Jennifer McMahon and Eileen Boland; sister-in-law, Doris Du Jardin, nephews, Richard Du Jardin and Michael Du Jardin, and a niece, Janine Stuart.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, George Du Jardin, Edward Du Jardin and Richard Du Jardin; and her sister, Sister Margaret Alice Du Jardin, O.P.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Jewish Home for the compassionate and dedicated care given to Grace during her time there.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit, to be celebrated by Monsignor Neil J. Van Loon, pastor of St. Paul's Parish, Scranton. Interment will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
Friends may call from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremations Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Grace V. Finn to the American Cancer Society.
