Gladys Audrey Yacovoni

Gladys Audrey Yacovoni, 98 , died Tuesday morning at home. Her husband was the late Louis Yacovoni who died in 1970.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Montague and Sarah Tyrrell Harris. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a nurse's aid at the Clarks Summit State Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit.

Gladys enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Robert Yacovoni, Endwell, NY; Richard Yacovoni and his wife Misty, Sun City Center, FL; Gloria Coleman and her husband, Howard, Clarks Summit and Judith McDonald and her husband Joseph, Clarks Summit; fifteen grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother William Harris.

Her family would like to thank the nurses at Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the compassion and wonderful care afforded Gladys.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 1:30 PM from Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.

Friends may call on Monday from 11:30 am to 1:15 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
