Geraldine Conklin

Geraldine Conklin, Clarks Summit, died Thursday at Abington Manor, South Abington Twp.

Born in Hop Bottom, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Daisy Smith Kozlowski. Before retirement, she was a bookkeeper for Lourdesmont and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit.

Surviving are a son, William and his wife, Laura of Virginia; a daughter, Sheila Pisasik and her husband, Richard of Lenox; grandchildren, Erica Marhelski, Christopher Vieira, Ashly Daghita, Matthew and Erin Conklin; two great-grandchildren, James and Neva Marhelski; and a sister, Shirley Kinney of Hop Bottom.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dale Conklin, in 1991; two brothers, Arthur and David Kozloswki; and a sister, Bonnie Lippert.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Abington Manor for their compassionate care.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit, with services by William Carter, pastor. Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery, Newton Twp.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
