George Perrick of Lake Winola died Friday evening at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. His widow is the former Dorothy Carson. The couple married in 1959.
Born in Scranton, son of the late John and Celia Welichonis Perrick, he was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Parish in Lake Winola. Before his retirement, he was a supervisor for General Dynamics.
Also surviving are a daughter, Ellen Dressler, Shelton, Conn.; three grandchildren, Jonathan Dressler, Blakely; Jeffrey Dressler, West Haven, Conn.; and Jessica Earley, Shelton; four great-grandchildren, Alyssa Earley, Tyler Dressler, Dylan Dressler and Evan Walker.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, William and John; and a sister, Evelyn Pecka.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately at St. Mary of the Lake Parish with interment in Cathedral Cemetery.
