Gene C. Kase Jr., 72, of Nicholson, passed to eternal life on March 8 2014 at home.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Gene C. and Helen Duffy Kase. He was a graduate of Abington Heights High School. He was employed as a truck driver for Walczak Lumber in Clifford. He was a member of Parker Hill Community Church.
Surviving is a sister Delores Kase Miller, Moscow; nieces and nephews, Marla Miller Sewell, Lori Miller Doran, Stephen James Miller, Deborah Kase Fenstermacher and Pamela Kase Ryan; he was the light of their lives to his companion and soulmate, Maryann Ceccarelli and her children Rick, Maria, John, Marc and Christopher, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Gene was greatly loved and will be missed, until we meet again.
He was preceded in death by a brother Norman P. Kase.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 am from the Parker Hill Community Church - Clarks Summit Campus, 607 North Abington Road, Waverly with services by the Rev. Paul Bell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parker Hill Community Church, 921 Scranton Carbondale Hwy., Scranton, PA 18508.
