Gabriel Thompson Thomas, 6 months, of Clarks Summit, died in his sleep Friday morning.
Born in Lehigh Valley Hospital, he was the beloved son of Michael Thomas and Alexandria J. Thompson, Clarks Summit.
In the short time we had him, he touched all of our hearts deeply and will be missed greatly.
Surviving are maternal grandmother, Mary Ann DiLeo, Throop; maternal grandfather, Sean Thompson and wife, Tamara, Florida; maternal great-grandfathers Roy Thompson and wife, Rosemary, Newton Twp.; and Anthony DiLeo, Scranton; paternal grandparents, Michael Motovidlak and Tammy Thomas, both of Wilkes-Barre; three uncles, John Thompson III, Boston; and Anthony and Nick Thompson, both of Scranton; an aunt, Nicole Thomas, Newton; maternal great-great-grandmother, Virginia Thompson, Newton; paternal great-grandparents, Louisa Thomas, Newton; and Charlie Thomas, Lake Ariel; paternal great-grandmother, Martha E. Balliet, Slocum; adoptive grandmother and godmother, Tina Lysak, Newton; great-aunt and godmother, Maria Thompson Carter, Newton; several great-aunts and uncles along with several cousins, all of Pennsylvania.
He also was preceded in death by his adoptive grandfather, Jeff Lysak; two great-grandmothers, Marion DiLeo and Mary Ann Neuman; and two great-grandfathers, Roy Thompson and Carl Balliet.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
Friends may call Sunday, 3 to 5 p.m., at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
