Frank A. Scaglione, 78, who retired to North Abington Twp., PA after residing for three decades in Florham Park, NJ, died peacefully at his home on Monday. Monday also marked the 52 nd wedding anniversary of Frank and his beloved wife Nancy (née Zeil).
Frank was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Frank Sr. and Marion Scaglione (née Consulmagno). He graduated from Dickinson High School, before enlisting in the Army and serving his country in Korea. He continued his education, went on to become an electrical engineer, and worked for Bell Labs ATT for thirty years. After retiring from Bell Labs, he became an antiquities dealer and owned his own business, Artifacts Unlimited.
Frank was a Renaissance man who enjoyed traveling the world with his family and sharing his passions with others. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, two daughters, Annemarie Forman (husband Mark) and Donna Scaglione-DeLuzio; five grandchildren, Lauren, Mollie, Alexa, Dominic, and Juliana. He was predeceased by his youngest daughter, Jeannie Scaglione. He is also survived by his brother Ronald Scaglione.
Visitation for family and friends will be this Saturday, January 13, at the Doyle Funeral Home, 106 Maple Ave., Morristown, NJ 07960 from 10am until noon followed by a Memorial Service and interment at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown, NJ.
Local arrangements are being made by the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The Salvation Army. To send an online condolence please visit the funeral home websites.
