Frank S. Joyce

Frank S. Joyce, 63, of Gouldsboro died Tuesday morning at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Francis and Mary Benedict Joyce. He was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School where he graduated first in his class. He was a well-known, talented florist, who operated the Benedict Flower Shop for many years.

He was a kind and gentle man who was loved by all who knew him.

Surviving are two brothers, Joseph Joyce, Old Forge and Jerome Scott, Kansas City, KS; a sister Kathleen Joyce-Scott and her husband, Tom, Gouldsboro; several nieces and nephews.

Entombment in Fairview Memorial Park took place at the convenience of the family.

Frank's family would like to express the deepest gratitude to Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore for their excellent staff and the care given to Frank.

Memorial donations would be welcomed to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William St., Dunmore, PA 18512.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
