Francis James Tuffy

Francis James Tuffy, 80, of Scott Twp., died Saturday evening at his home.

Born in Scranton he was the son of the late Francis R. and Sophie Miller Tuffy.  He was a proud Marine veteran and spent the last 55 years employed as a truck driver for Ryder truck and Crystal Soda.

Surviving are four sons; Francis J. and his wife Sherry, Scranton, William and his wife Lisa, Scott Twp., Michael and his companion Elisa Gibson, Clarks Summit and Thomas and his fiancé Nicole Henderson, Scranton.  12 grandchildren; Hannah and husband, Kyle, Melissa and fiance Mike, Amber and fiance Andre, Natalie, Emily, Wesley, Brianna, Michael, Susan, Macey, Ashlynn and Ryan; a great grandchild, Nova; two brothers Robert, Dunmore and Richard, IL.; a sister Dolores Garzella, Dunmore and his special friend Christine Bilko, Florida.

He was preceded in death by a brother Donald and a sister Shirley Rudolfi.

Friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.

Military honors will follow on Friday at 11 am in the Abington Hills Cemetery.
