Francis "Chick" Kettle, Lake Winola died Saturday morning at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock.
Born in Scranton on January 16, 1926 he was the son of the late Lester and Florence Carson Kettle. He was a member of the St. Mary's of the Lake Church and prior to his retirement he was a printer, first working for Capitol Records and then Northeast Envelope.
Surviving are three nephews, Paul Kettle Jr. and his wife Camilla, MD, Ralph Kettle Sr. and his wife Mary, Ransom Twp., Joseph Kettle and his wife Sandi, Newton Twp.; a sister in law, Martha Kettle, Newton Twp.; grandnephews and a grandniece; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Paul Kettle Sr. on January 14, 2000.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family with interment to be in Cathedral Cemetery.
