Frances F. Ridgeway

Frances F. Ridgeway, 100, of North Abington Twp., died Thursday afternoon at Abington Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of Harvey Ridgeway, who died in 1996.

Born on March 27, 1910, in North Abington Twp., she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Florence Foster Hopfer. She was a lifelong resident of North Abington Twp. and a member of Waverly United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Mansfield University.

Surviving are a son, Roy Ridgeway, and a nephew, Frank Ridgeway.

The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by the Rev. Barbara Snyder, pastor of Waverly United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Clifford Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 1 until the time of the service.
