Frances R. Nealon

Frances R. Nealon, 90 of Clarks Summit, died Saturday morning at the Jewish Home in Scranton. She was the widow of the late Paul J. Nealon who died in 1990.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William and Kathleen Hawley McGraw.

She was a member of Our lady of the Snows Church, and the Ladies Auxiliary, Abington V.F.W., Post 7069 in Clarks Summit. She enjoyed gardening, creating hand crafted ceramic items and knitting. She loved spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed having them altogether. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are two sons, Martin and his wife Verna, Olyphant, and Paul and his wife Anita, Clarks Summit; four daughters, Kathleen "Kay" Nealon, Pompano, FL, Deborah Evans, Scranton, Beverly Walsh and her husband, Michael, Clarks Summit, and Patricia Mayo and her husband Timothy, Scranton; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 am at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit with services by Msgr. James McGarry.

Friends may call on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
