Frances C. Lewis of Scott Twp. died Friday morning at home. She was the widow of Lloyd G. Lewis, who died in December 2006.

Born in Clarks Green, daughter of the late Lawrence and Ethel Green Clark, she was a resident of Scott Twp. most of her life. Before retirement, she was employed at Grove Textile Co., Scranton, as a payroll clerk and at Summit Westlake Shop, Clarks Summit, as a sales clerk. She attended Mount Bethel Baptist Church. She had a passion for painting and studied under Hope Horn.

The family would like to thank the employees and volunteers of Mercy Hospice for their loving care.

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Tizzoni, and husband, Leo, Scott Twp.; two sisters. Jane Pitman, Scranton; and Margaret Pry, Dania Beach, Fla.; two grandsons, Stephen and his wife, Bria, Jersey City; and Mark, Leeds, England.

A funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by the Rev. Donald Hasselman, pastor of the Mount Bethel Baptist Church. Interment, Mount Bethel Cemetery.
