Floyd C. Morgan, Clarks Summit died Monday afternoon in his home. His wife is the former Alberta Forster, the couple celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary last Friday.
Born in Newark, NJ son of the late Owen and Alma Pickering Morgan. Prior to retirement he worked in the shipping and receiving department of Potlatch Paper Company in Ransom Township. He was a member of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are two daughters Darlene Dulkis, Glenburn and Arlene Booth and her husband Donald, Virginia, a son, Kenneth and his wife, Linda, Scranton; six grandchildren, Michelle McGarvey and husband Mike, Mike Dulkis, Daniel, David, Sarah, and Becky Booth.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Gow.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:30pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit with services by Rev. Judy Wanck, pastor of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst
Friends may call on Friday from noon until the time of the service.
