Faye A. Philbin of Clarks Summit passed away at her home Friday morning. She was the widow of Thomas who died in 2012.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Ruth Comstock LaFontaine. Prior to retirement she was employed by Costa Drugs for over 30 years. She was a very talented self-taught artist who loved her family.
Surviving are a son, Jeffrey and his wife Melony of Meshoppen, two daughters, Erin Torquato and her husband Richard A. of Clarks Summit, and Eileen Vosburg and her husband Drake S. of Meshoppen, a son in law, Dane Craig, a brother William LaFontaine of N.H., nine grandchildren, Evan, Morgan, Abigail and Cameron Craig, Heather and Cody Philbin, Olivia and Owen Vosburg and Julia Torquato.
She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter Ellen Philbin Craig in 2005.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-8pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit with interment private at the convenience of the family.
