Evelyn Anita Silfee

Evelyn Anita Silfee, 86, passed away on Friday at her home in Scott Township. She was the widow of Kenneth Silfee, who died in 2005.

Born in Triangle, New York, she was the daughter of the late Lynn and Margaretta Chamberlin Benedict. She was a graduate of Monroe High School and, prior to retirement, owned Justus Food Market with her husband.

Surviving are grandchildren Christopher Drum and wife Amanda, Ashley Drum, Sara Hedin and husband Joe, Justin Hunter and wife Anne, and Megan Beaulieu and husband Hayden; great grandchildren Felix and Quinn Hunter, Claire Beaulieu, Caylee Madison Drum, and Merritt, Danica, and Holice Hedin; sister Mary Lou Brimacomb; and sister-in-law Lorraine Stanton.

She was preceded in death by daughters Anita Drum and Elisa Munley.

A funeral will be held on Saturday at 1 pm at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit. Interment will follow at Miller Cemetery, Clarks Summit. Friends may pay their respects to the family at the funeral home from 11:30 am until the time of the service.
